JPS at 120 Years
In 1888 a group of visionaries founded JPS, knowing that Jews needed books in English to succeed in America. As we begin our 120th anniversary year, please join us in honoring our past and in looking toward our future with excitement.

Visit our website frequently to see news of anniversary events; interesting facts about JPS and Jewish history and culture; and of course, descriptions of the fine new books we're publishing this special year.

Thank you for making 2008 a banner year for JPS and a true celebration of Jewish learning and culture!

JPS Wins 2 Best Work-place Awards
JPS has two more reasons to celebrate, as it begins its anniversary year. It is the winner of the 2007 People's Choice Award for Best Nonprofit to Work For in its size category and was also named one of the top 20 publishers to work for by Book Business magazine, in its October 2007 issue, right next to Oxford University Press and Random House.
