ABOUT THE JEWISH PUBLICATION SOCIETY
Founded in 1888, JPS is the oldest non-profit, non-denominational publisher of Judaica in English. The JPS TANAKH remains the mostly widely read English translation of the Hebrew Bible. Today, JPS is reimagining its future. The anticipated launch in 2010 of the online initiative, JPS Interactive, will bring the Society's extensive resources related to the Bible to the broad English-reading world.
